Pectus excuvatum: a condition in which the breastbone sinks into the chest.

Pectus Carinatum: also called pigeon chest is a malformation of the chest characterised by protrusion of the sternum and ribs.

External forces can be applied to the rib cage over a period of time to change the shape of the breast bone. This can help to reduce the appearance of a pigeon's chest.
